In Yoga, “Parampara” means the unbroken, pure lineage of the archaic tradition that, according to the scriptures, comes from Shiva’s mouth. In primal times, this tradition was given to the Shaman and Yogi Matsyendra, who passed it on to his disciple Goraksha. During long stays in the Himalayas, Maharshi Kartikeya received it from Yogis living in caves there and passed it on to Dhirendra Brahmachari, who in turn instructed Reinhard Gammenthaler as his last disciple in all details in order to preserve this precious ancient knowledge for posterity.
